Alicante Averages

Weather Statistics in Alicante

The Spanish meteorological department has issued the above averages for Alicante. There are no snow days! With an average of over 300 days of sunshine reported elsewhere, its very easy to see why people love the weather on the Costa Blanca. generally speaking even if there are rainy days or 'storms' these tend to be short lived lasting a couple of days at most. Combine that with the fact that when it rains - its usually 'warm' rain.

People who live here very soon acclimatise and amazingly, if you come from Northern Europe - the residents can find 15°C quite cool to say the least, a temperature that would be considered quite warm elsewhere in Europe.

The hours of daylight are much better in the winter than say the UK staying light until approximately 6.30pm giving plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine even in the depths of winter.
